Three robbers broke into to the villa of an influential senator at night. They are not disconcerted by the absence of any servant or guard. The owner of the house and his wife are bound, their safe is devastated. In the basement, from where suspicious noise is heard, the girls find the paralyzed daughter of a senator. The girl begs for help: she is tied to the bed and seems to have been tortured. But the robbers could not imagine that, having regretted the unfortunate child and freeing her from the bonds, they would let the devil himself out. Perhaps now only the priest can save the unfortunate from the terrible fate.
